I feel like I let a few people down.
I still hear them in the back of my mind—
not angry, just wondering why.
Screaming again, but not at me—
jumping into the void, hoping something answers back.
They're trying to catch a glimpse of something brighter—
something more than just black and white.
But life’s all grey lately. And I sigh.
Slipped again into the old loops—
the ones I swore I'd broken.
New person. Same old mistakes.
But this time, I’m not empty-handed.
I brought something back with me—
just a flicker, a shimmer, a spark.
A little light.
A little glimmer of sight from outside the box.
And when you feel it—
you’ll know how much you were missing out.
